Session Information

In this DP-900 training, you will learn the basic principles of database concepts in a cloud environment, acquire basic skills in cloud data services, and build foundational knowledge of cloud data services within Microsoft Azure.

First, during this DP-900 training, you will delve into core concepts related to data, such as relational, non-relational, big data, and analytics, and work on implementing these topics in Microsoft Azure. You will explore the different roles, tasks, and responsibilities in the world of data.

Next, you will explore the offerings of relational data, set up and implement relational databases, and query relational data using tools in Microsoft Azure.

You will also work with non-relational data offerings. You will explore the setup and implementation of non-relational databases and non-relational data storage in Azure. You will learn about the processing options available for building data analytics solutions. Furthermore, you will learn the basics of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure HDInsight, and Power BI, and how these products work together.

Do you want to take the DP-900 exam after completing the Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals course? Purchase an exam voucher from us for your exam and achieve the Microsoft Certified Azure Data Fundamentals certification.

Upon completion of this DP-900 training, you will be able to:

  • Describe the key data tooling in Azure
  • Explain the concepts of relational data in Azure
  • Explain the concepts of non-relational data in Azure
  • Identify components of a modern data warehouse in Azure
